Here’s my poem for the week. It’s a short one about something we all don’t pay attention to-silence.
And remember at the end of the day
It is not our words that get us the farthest
It is our silence
People think silence is fragile
Because it’s easily broken
But it’s the strongest thing of all
Silence needs no words to be spoken
It needs no noise to be heard
No brains to understand
Because when all is quiet
We don’t hear
We listen
We don’t look
We see
We don’t touch
We feel
And when words don’t come
It is silence that speaks the loudest.
